But what about more
Wings GBA info, you ask? Never fear, aviation
advocates! This month, I’d like to give you all the
scoop on
Wings’
multiplayer modes. We’ve been “testing it out” around the office and I
had to hide everyone’s link cables to get them to go back to work!
You probably already know that
Wings will let you and up to three
friends (or enemies) take to the skies for four-player dogfights, but we
weren’t satisfied with just having free-for-alls.
Wings will offer three full multiplayer modes! Beyond the
every-man-for-himself Battle Royale,
Wings will also let you recreate
the struggle for air superiority between the Allied and Central Powers
in the Team Play Mode. Even better, you can assign up to four
additional AI-controlled pilots and play cooperatively with or against
them!
Lastly, we’ve got the Balloon Battle! Just like the regular team game,
you’ll be able to assign AI pilots to work for or against you, but this
time you’ll be working to bust the other team’s observation balloon
while protecting your own.
This is all in addition to the 200+ strafing, bombing and dogfighting
missions in the single player game, as well as the ability to play as a
German Ace this time around –
Wings is going to be HUGE! Be sure to
check out the latest screens --
